RG082217 Eleven Columbia River Trade Seed Beads
These tiny little beads were traded during the Fur Trade (Circa Early 1750-1850) by companies such as The Hudson Bay, North West Company and the American Fur Trade Company.
The specific beads in this group were all part of the Ralph Groom Collection. He recovered them screening them from the beach sand in the 1950’s and early 1960’s along the Columbia River that runs thru Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia Canada.
Great for education, study, and display.
BC Artifacts Ltd. legally obtained some of this collection in 2005 thru Mark Berreth of Kennewick Washington.
