CB0822_3 Three Ground Stone Steatite Columbia River Trade Beads
These were created for thousands of years and used as currency for trade by Pacific Northwest First Nations. These specific beads were recovered in the mid 1950’s along the Columbia River at what was known as Bead Patch at The Dalles in Oregon.
BC Artifacts Ltd. legally obtained some of this collection through Jeff Smith in Washington. Good history and provenance will be provided on the SOP to the buyer.
