TB062420_5 Beautiful Group of Various Columbia River Glass Trade Beads
Beautiful 8 1/2″ long strand of various Columbia River Trade Beads from the Old Celilo Falls site – Now buried by the John Day dam waters on the Columbia River. These were recovered in the 1950’s through 1960’s. Ex-Jeff Harris, Seahawk Auctions
These beads were often traded during the early Pacific Northwest Fur Trade by the American Fur Trading company, The Hudson Bay and Northwest Company. The blue beads were favored by the First Nations here in the Pacific Northwest. This is a fantastic strand of beads from this area. Some very unique examples.
